The new and improved AS1000 & AS1000HAT PRO-SHIELD™ face shield protects the user from arc flash yet keeps the visibility higher than ever! With 70% visual light transmission (VLT), the new AS1000 offers the best VLT in the industry. This offers more true color recognition in the work environment, making customer’s jobs easier. One PRO-SHIELD AS1000 user states, “Salisbury’s 70% VLT lenses are practically clear!”

The AS1000 face shield includes a chin cup and slotted dielectric bracket. The AS1000HAT also includes a front brim hard hat and protects the user from arc flash with an arc flash rating of 10 cal/cm². (8 cal/cm² without chin cup). The AS1000’s anti-fog, light-weight face shield has a thickness of .06" and a large viewing area of 7" x 20".

New AS1500 & AS1500HAT
PRO-SHIELD™ Faceshield
Former AS1000 Series Still Available as the AS1500 and AS1500HAT PRO-SHIELD™
Salisbury is accommodating customers needing to purchase the former version of the AS1000 and AS1000HAT PRO SHIELD™ by providing the AS1500 PRO-SHIELD & Accessories. The AS1500 line is equipped with all the same features of the earlier version of the AS1000, and therefore offers an arc flash rating of 15 cal/cm² but with 55% visual light transmission. 10 cal/cm² without chin cup).

The AS1500 face shield includes a chin cup and slotted dielectric bracket. The AS1500HAT also includes a front brim hard hat and has an anti-fog, light-weight face shield with a thickness of .06” and a large viewing area of 7” x 20”.

Salisbury's 40 cal/cm² Arc Flash Protective suit is now 1.5 pounds lighter than before. The new 40 cal/cm² suit is made up of 2-layer material now 7oz./yd² & 13oz./yd². Two Ounces lighter per yard² than before.
