The electrical integrity of a ground assembly should never be assumed. That is why you should establish a regular testing program using the new GT400 Personal Ground Assembly Tester. It is compact, light weight, and quickly confirms the condition of an entire grounding jumper assembly. The GT400 can be set up for testing in a matter of minutes by lab or field personnel.
Powered by a standard 115V AC outlet rated at 10 amps or higher.
Digital ammeter allows operator to easily apply the correct test current.
Easy-to-read reference chart is provided to show maximum acceptable voltage drop for different cable lengths and gauges.
Cable is tested at its rated continuous current per ASTM F-855.
Grounding jumper need only be measured to the nearest foot.
Digital voltmeter clearly informs operator if the assembly is in acceptable working condition.
