Made from bright orange polypropylene
monofilament for easy identification and treated with
a formulation which significantly increases its special
properties. The resin from which it is produced is formulated
for good resistance to ultraviolet degradation. This
rope is 3-strand utilities lay and is tension-set for
extra strength and lower elongation. When new and clean,
rope is rated at 30 kV per 2 feet (61 cm) wet and 100
kV per foot (30.5 cm) dry. For in-service testing use
Cat. No. LLR1 on page 87. Other lengths available.

Yellow polypropylene 3 strand rope is one of the best
ropes made for underground conduit pull lines. It has
a low amount of elongation and elasticity, insuring constant,
steady pulls, with a minimum of surge-movement. Special
colors in the polypropylene pull lines are available.

White100% double-braid polyester. Provides the least elongation
of all man-made fibers. The round configuration protects
against channeling and abrasive wear on the inside of
conduit bends. Full reels, custom winch lines, and special
make-ups with Samson thimbles or the thimbles of your
choice, are available. |

Premium all-purpose hand line. It is a light weight and
durable three-strand laid rope. Filament polyester yarns
are jacket-wrapped over mono-filament polypro
center yarns, providing excellent abrasion resistance
and gripping properties with moderate elongation. When
used properly, polydac is perfect for capstans, block
and tackle work, and many other rough applications. Other
lengths available. |
