Tool Head Adapters

Used in live line applications. This equipment should be mounted on suitable handles to ensure proper distance from live conductors, Below are the choices of adapters available. All tools have one of these three adapters. When ordering tool heads or meters, please specify the type of adapter required, Q, U, or GA.

Tool Head Adapters quick change

0 - QUICK CHANGE
Has a 5/8"_11 threaded stud that threads into the top of a hexagonal ferrule. A hexagonal collar slides down and over the hexagonal ferrule making a strong, positive connection. A plastic safety clip is used to lock the quick change adapter to an insulating handle.

Tool Head Adapters universal

U - UNIVERSAL
Allows quick change tool heads to be used on fiberglass handles with universal fittings and gives the user the option to position and secure a quick change tool head at several angles. It also allows meters to be attached to universal handles.

Tool Head Adapters grip all

GA - GRIP ALL
For use with the clamp stick (or "shotgun stick"). The hook from the clamp stick is hooked through the eye hole of the adapter. The adapter is then drawn into the clamp stick and secured.
